Minneapolis, August 11, 2009. Defying the lazy days of August, THE LIVING ROOM and PROHIBITION lounges at the W Minneapolis – The Foshay, have scheduled a summer’s worth of distractions for our guests.

 

The Twin Cities Cocktail Safari  
 

It’s hard to caravan in this heat with only a stretch limo separating you from Minnesota’s garter snakes, mosquitoes and squawking loons. Good thing THE LIVING ROOM and PROHIBITION stand ready to restore thirsty COCKTAIL SAFARI participants.

 

The Twin Cities Cocktail Safari visits some of Minneapolis’ most fashionable watering holes including PROHIBITION and THE LIVING ROOM, La Belle Vie, Chambers Hotel, Barrio and Solera. Each evening’s tour features four destinations enabling intrepid imbibers to sample the Twin Cities’ most exotic elixirs and appetizers in their creators’ habitats.
 
    The Living Room and Prohibition feature the following signature cocktails:
- Truth or Consequence - Chile Infused Patron Silver, Grand Marnier, Pineapple, Cilantro, Agave Nectar and Lime.  Served with a Coronita.
- Behind the Green Door - Grey Goose La Poire, Midori, Pineapple and Lemon. 
- The Epiphany Martini - Grey Goose La Poire, St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur and Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

     Martini & Manicure Mondays at the W
 
     Enabling thirsty aesthetes to meet all their grooming and hydration needs in one place, THE LIVING ROOM is hosting Monday night Martinis and Manicures. For just $17 (excluding tip), attendees get a martini from the bar and a manicure from Denny Kemp Salon and Spa in NE Minneapolis.
